The Public Services Career Showcase scheduled for Thursday, November 20, 2008, is a collaborative effort between The University of New Mexico, the New Mexico Consortium of Career Educators and the United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The showcase is designed to facilitate the recruitment of the best and the brightest that New Mexico has to offer and to encourage candidates to consider a career in public service "Working for America." The focus is on employment in federal, state, and municipal governments. Students from all the four-year universities and two-year community colleges will be invited to attend.
