ITS Support Center
- Department Description:
ITS' primary mission is to provide quality and professional service to the UNM community, especially fast response and timely solutions to customer needs and questions. The support center provides telephone, walk-in, chat, and email support. We support the breadth of UNM's technological infrastructure and follow many industry best practices.

Technical Support Consultant I--The ITS Support Center is seeking customer-oriented individuals to provide support on Windows, Macintosh, and Unix systems to faculty, staff and student body members. We provide end-user support for applications, networking, and hardware troubleshooting. Typical issues include problems with viruses, malware, email, Banner/LoboWeb, web development, and network connectivity (including wireless networking) The Support Center is staffed M-F 6:30am-7pm, Sat-Sun 10am-7pm; shifts may be adjusted to suit your school schedule.

Peacecraft
- Department Description:
Peacecraft is a non-profit, Fair Trade store that imports handmade crafts and organically farmed foods from certified Fair Trade cooperatives. The craft and food producers are all artisans who have lived in marginalized situations and who now receive a fair wage for their work. Peacecraft has been in business for 20 years, providing the Albuquerque community with an alternative to shopping. Our store is staffed with three directors (managers), 4-5 work study students and many volunteers. Peacecraft is a major player in the Fair Trade global community and has helped many Fair Trade cooperatives in our 20 years of business.

Peacecraft, Albuquerque's only Fair Trade Store, is a non-profit seeking 2-3 work-study qualified students to perform duties of a Fair Trade Customer Service Representatives. Experience in customer service is a must and interest in Fair Trade business practices is good. We are seeking students who are friendly and out-going, self-starters, independent workers, reliable, punctual, flexible, and possesses the ability to work with many different personalities. The student is responsible for opening and closing the store, balancing the register, running the front-end of the store under the supervision of management, and directing the volunteer staff in their daily duties.

Off-Campus Work Study Employer - National Farm Workers Service Center
- Department Description:
The National Farm Workers Service Center (NFWSC) is a non-profit established by Cesar Chavez & Dolores Huerta, and develops quality affordable housing for Latino & underserved communities throughout the Southwest. The NFWSC other services include: educational radio, property management & community services. The Community Services division has established Si Se Puede! Learning Centers (SSPLC) within our affordable housing properties, and each SSP Learning Center provides a safe & interactive environment that encourages learning & focuses on literacy, math & technology, through an after-school and summer program.

The mission of Los Companeros is to promote academic and personal success among middle and high school students through a culturally relevant mentoring program provided by university students.

ENLACE Mentor/Tutor - Employee maintains a caseload of 15-30 students in a middle or high school work site within the Albuquerque Public School District. Employee is responsible for acquiring and reporting data regarding student participation, demographics, academic performance, and establishing direct contact with parents of student participants. Mentors will also develop a culturally relevant program designed to boost self confidence and nurture leadership abilities of students as they prepare to transition to the higher education system. Mentors will implement an after school tutoring site that will provide tutoring services in mathematics, science, literature, and language arts. Mentors will develop and participate in programmatic activities aimed at promoting academic success.

Student Life Computer Support Unit

The Student Life Computer Support Unit is staffed Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Two shifts are available; morning and afternoon. The morning shift is from 8 am to noon (4 hours). The afternoon shift is from 1 pm to 5 pm (4 hours).

The Student Life Computer Support Unit is seeking customer-oriented individuals to provide support on Windows systems to faculty, staff and students. The CSU provides end-user support for applications, networking, and hardware troubleshooting. Typical issues include problems with viruses, malware, email, Banner/LoboWeb, web development, printers and network connectivity (including wireless networking).
Technical Support Consultant 4 (TSC4) staff members are expected to be extremely well-versed in current technologies, as well as CSU and UNM processes and applications. They bear significant responsibility in helping coordinate the smooth and consistent operation of the Student Life Computer Support Unit and are expected to act as a technical consultant to lower-level staff. Shifts for TSC4's cannot be adjusted.

Emerging Infections Program, Institute for Public Health
- Department Description:
New Mexico's Emerging Infections Program (EIP) is part of a network of state health departments, academic centers, and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We conduct surveillance for foodborne illnesses, influenza, and invasive bacterial infections such as meningitis. Students would assist with interviewing patients and helping epidemiologists with special studies.
